Who Can Become a Millionaire?

David Bach and Sue Paananen

Many people daydream about being a millionaire. It is a common philosophical question to be asked, “What would you do if you had a million dollars?” For 99% of the population, this remains merely a distant dream, a fun exercise to determine what’s important to us. For the people at the conventions I attend, however, it’s a goal, an attainable goal. Continue reading

How to Add a Border Around Your Blog Video

Many of my blogging friends have videos as a part of their blogs, so I thought I’d make a post that would make their videos even more eye-catching by putting a border around them in any color you choose.

To add a video in the first place and remove unrelated videos, I’ll refer you to my blog post about adding videos. In it, I mention the following steps to modify the html of an embedded video: Continue reading

Getting Rid of “Related Videos” at the End of Your Video on Your Blog

When you put a video on your blog post or webpage, the purpose is to tell the reader more about yourself, your product, your service, or to educate the reader in some way. The last thing you want is for the reader to be distracted at the end of the video and leave your blog to browse the other related videos that pop up when your video finishes running that catches their eye, bringing them to look at someone else instead of keeping them on your page. I’ve seen this far too many times. My friends who have this happening on their blogs have asked their administrators of their websites to fix it after I have pointed it out, and they come back to me saying that their administrators said they didn’t know how…. Puzzles, Holiday Traditions, and Analyzing Websites

Being the holiday season, I was compelled to take some breaks and spend some time with my family doing holiday tradition types of activities. These involved getting together with relatives, putting up the tree, having special treats, and just spending some down time together. One of the activities I particularly like to do during these times is putting together jigsaw puzzles, at least 500 pieces. I hold the title champion in my family for putting them together with speed and ease. Many people ask me how do I do it so quickly. Continue reading

Website Woes Holiday Song

I generally make it a point not to complain about things, but I thought of a new song for the Christmas season that warranted a little background. I have had website issues for over a year now, probably more than most people. I hired out to have it done when I was brand new to business, before I really knew what I was doing, because that’s what everyone is suppose to do, right? Well, they bought my name URL, never completed my website, then went out of business… Continue reading

Masterminding With Leaders

One of the most important things that leaders do every day is to mastermind with other top leaders. I had the most amazing opportunity to mastermind for hours with several very successful leaders at the Joint Venture Bootcamp I went to earlier this year. One became my coach who studies world class leaders, who also joint ventured with me to teach some trainings he would offer, and another became one of my business partners and offered me a position on his executive committee for his company. It really pays to mastermind with leaders, and to meet them in the first place by going places where they are. Continue reading
